SCOTTSDALE SNAPSHOT

The Queen of Beverly Hills Drama is Coming to Scottsdale

Wolf by Vanderpump will be in Caesar’s Republic Scottsdale

Lisa Vanderpump is bringing her signature over-the-top persona/flair (idk I can’t pick the right word) to Scottsdale with Wolf by Vanderpump, opening at Caesars Republic with "dramatic and immersive atmosphere" and moody lighting that will most like make Instagram content pop.

The 6,500 square foot space promises panoramic views of Camelback Mountain plus a globally-inspired menu and creative cocktails.

This is the second Wolf location after Lake Tahoe and the wolf theme with "bespoke pieces inspired by the magnificent creature" sounds exactly as extra as you'd expect from the Vanderpump Rules queen.

Construction starts in July, so I’ll keep my eye on the project and provide updates as they become available.

Scottsdale Quarter was Just Acquired

FalconEye Ventures just acquired Scottsdale Quarter and announced a massive $100 million capital improvement program starting late 2025 to elevate the property's luxury retail positioning. This one caught my eye as I used to live right in the Quarter. I miss being able to walk to all the stores and restaurants.

FalconEye is partnering with Vestar to oversee operations while focusing on tenant curation, infrastructure enhancements, and ‘experiential retail’ concepts. Not sure what that means, but we’ll see how it unfolds.

The improvements aim to position Scottsdale Quarter as a destination for both breakthrough technology companies and continued retail growth.

With nearly 600 residential units already complementing the retail and office spaces, this investment signals a lot of confidence in North Scottsdale's continued development.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH A1 GARAGE DOOR SERVICE

If your garage door is giving you trouble, A1 Garage Door Service has you covered. Whether it’s a busted spring, a door that won’t open, or you just want an upgrade, these guys handle it all. They’ve built a solid reputation for fast, reliable service, and they’re known for actually showing up on time (which is rare these days). I’ve used them personally for my rental property and it was such a smooth process.

Plus, they offer 24/7 emergency repairs, so you’re not stuck if something goes wrong at the worst possible moment. If your garage door needs some love, you can’t go wrong with them.

DATE SPOT OF THE WEEK

Orange Sky at Talking Stick

9800 East E Talking Stick Wy, Scottsdale, AZ 85256

If you want to impress your date without trying too hard, Orange Sky at Talking Stick Resort is a solid choice with those beautiful 360° views that make every table feel like the best seat in the house.

The restaurant lives up to its name during sunset when we get the best views of almost anywhere in the world. Chef Martin Yepez crafts modern steakhouse elegance with local Sonoran ingredients, and let’s not forget their Wine Spectator award.

The four elements concept (earth, water, air, fire) might sound a little mystical, but when you're watching the desert landscape change colors while sharing perfectly prepared dishes, you'll understand why this place has become the go-to for special occasions.

LOCAL BUSINESS OF THE WEEK

Ruze Cake House

7033 E. Main St., 100, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

Meet the incredible mother-daughter duo behind Ruze Cake House, who are absolutely crushing the custom cake game with their fresh, innovative designs and commitment to small-batch, high-quality desserts.

What sets them apart is their dedication to local sourcing. They get their honey, citrus, and milk from Arizona farmers (many of whom they see at the Farmers Markets), and their milk comes exclusively from Danzisien Dairy, a local family-owned company they've personally visited multiple times.

Everything is made from scratch in-house, including their fondant, Swiss meringue buttercream, curds, and caramels, plus they've just added ice cream macarons to the menu.

This is exactly the kind of local business that makes our community special - a family operation that cares about quality, sustainability, and supporting other local farmers.

I love this one. High on the north slope of Mummy Mountain, this 4 bed, 3 bath, 3,154 sq ft hillside home has amazing, unobstructed views of Pinnacle Peak, Tom’s Thumb, the McDowells, and Four Peaks. Built in 1978 and completely original, it’s preserved so well and ready for a fresh vision. It’s actively for sale which is rare for these types of properties.
