The Henry is on its Way to North Scottsdale

North Scottsdale’s getting a new bar/restaurant and I couldn’t be more excited.

The Henry is expanding from its original Arcadia location and opening a new spot at Chauncey Lane, right near Scottsdale and the 101. I’m stoked for it as ever since Chauncey Social closed (RIP) my friends and I have been looking for a local new hangout.

Expect that same all-day charm—breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails—but in a fresh new setting that fits right into the North Scottsdale vibe.

I’ll stay vigilant on an opening date but it should be this summer.

This cozy, dimly lit gem in Old Town serves up authentic Spanish tapas with just the right amount of flair. Jamón ibérico, chicken skewers and sangria that keeps the convo flowing. It’s intimate without trying too hard.

Bonus: they’ve got live flamenco music on certain nights. I went with a group of friends on a Saturday (I think) and the flamenco music was there.

Wiggle Zone: New Doggy Daycare in North Scottsdale

I’ve been wanting to highlight more local businesses focused on pets so here it is! If your dog needs to burn off some energy (and you need a break), check out Wiggle Zone. It’s one of the few locally owned, cage-free daycares in town.

They cater to small dogs up to 25 pounds and their team is experienced in the unique needs and behaviors that small dogs have. Plus, I can’t get enough of their fun branding on the site.

I’d recommend booking a meet-and-greet to see the space and meet the staff if you’re thinking of using their services. Let them know I sent you!
