Quiriego Restaurant Opens in North Scottsdale
I made a reel on this a couple weeks ago. Quiriego Restaurant is bringing upscale Mexican cuisine to the area by taking over the former Carrabba's Italian Grill space at 17007 N. Scottsdale Road. This marks the acclaimed concept's first U.S.-based location. Everything I’ve found online says they have their soft opening today!
Collective Soul Hitting Talking Stick
If you're looking for weekend plans, rock band Collective Soul is performing their classic hits live at Talking Stick this Saturday at 8 p.m. You can also check out the family-friendly Action & Adventure Festival happening at the Arizona Boardwalk.
City Council to Review Flock Cameras
Scottsdale residents wanting answers about Flock license plate reader cameras are finally getting a public discussion. The city council agreed to place the cameras on the agenda for a meeting scheduled for October 6th. Mayor Lisa Borowsky noted it's a conversation they want to share with the community. Let’s see what happens!

Old Town's Newest Boutique Opens Its Doors Oct. 1st
Mara Levin's new boutique, Marea, opens this week at 4242 N. Craftsman Court in Old Town, offering a thoughtful edit of contemporary apparel, resort wear, occasion pieces, accessories and select home accents.
Mara spent her career in beauty marketing at The Estee Lauder Companies, interior design and fashion retail before opening Marea. She built it to make shopping feel personal again, with real styling and honest wardrobe guidance.

HAPPY HOUR OF THE WEEK
Buck & Rider
This is easily my favorite happy hour in town. When you head over to Buck & Rider North Scottsdale, you'll find an amazing happy worth planning around. You can catch it daily from 3 to 7 PM, just make sure to mention that you want to sit at the bar or in the happy hour section. If they seat you in a regular section, you don't get access to the happy hour menu.
The ceviche, the oysters, the nigiri are all such good deals, as well as everything else on the menu. You're looking at $11 signature cocktails and provisions alongside $2.25 all raw oysters and $10 “small bites” like ceviche, fried rice and fried chicken (all amazing btw).
If you haven't been, I would highly recommend checking this out.

If you're looking for an outdoor workout this week, The Scottsdale Resort and Spa is hosting a 45 minute class today, Monday, September 28th from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM. It delivers all the benefits of a traditional barre workout without the barre using controlled and low impact movements.
